I am japanese american, and I look at other girls, my wife and daughter included, and they have really long eyelashes....Jealous, so very jealous.... so I am wondering, if by taking hormones, do our eyelashes get longer too?

My eyelashes have not grown longer or thicker.

I am on icky Premarin until I am able to afford the good stuff. I've been on premarin and spiro for about a 1 1/2 now. From what I read and understand a lot of changes are individualized. It depends on how your body reacts to it. I've added medroxyprogesterone to my regimen within the last year. I've noticed my boobs have responded favorably to the progesterone.

Sorry no thick eyelashes yet but it sure would be a nice side-effect from the chemicals :)

a few girls have told me their eyelashes grew on HRT. I always had long and thick eyelashes before HRT.

That's odd, I was interested in this just the other day but couldn't find much from Googling.

I used to have many eye lashes and they were long, but since I hit 25 and my metabolism changed (slightly receding hairline, thinner hairs on my head that are less curly) I have noticed that I have less eye lashes and that they are shorter and less feminine.

I'm interested if this (the eye lashes) would reverse if I started to take hormones.

I 'think' my eyelashes have grown longer and thicker. But then again, before HRT I didn't use mascara so I can't really know. When I put mascara on you can definitely see my lashes are fairly long.

If you have long eyelashes already you will have long eyelashes but if you don't HRT isn't going to change that.

I started HRT 15 months ago, and the hair that was left on my body has not diminished, but my eyelashes have gotten much longer and thicker. You cannot predict these things.

I have been on HRT for 2 years now and I don't see any changes in my eyelashes.

I'm at 3½ months of HRT, and at about 3 weeks ago, I noticed that I had much nicer looking eyelashes than before; they were much longer, and definitely thicker. I checked a photo from right at the beginning of HRT, and a pic I took today; there was definitely a change in the eyelash department.

As an aside, There is a prescription drug (Latisse) that you paint on your top eyelid that will lengthen and increase the numbers of eyelashes.  Pretty expensive though, around $100/month I think.  Most women use mascara.  Most of those lengthen and thicken the eyelashes with special fibers.  Maybalene, one of the cheapest, is often listed in Allure magazine as one of the best.  Try it!
