Posting problems

I quoted somebody's post and clicked "post" and it changed screens so I assumed it posted fine but it dissapeared and never posted. Is it just because I'm new? I know I can't respond to a pm yet which I think is weird or maybe I'm just not used to posting yet.

if it went to a white screen, might be a connection issue
