Good News: So I was able to make one by carving out a hole in the bottom of a medicine spoon. I'm actually excited to use the bathroom now, lol. I've got about a 50% success rate so far.

The bad news is, my monthly started today. >.< *slams head against the wall* Perfect timing.

I tried the spoon, could never get the position right, maybe its because I'm fat. But I use the shewee (in clear, hell not that bright pink one) and it works for me. It's basically along the same lines as the spoon and its cheap.

I just made one out of an old toothpaste tube.  It works well now that I've got the hang of it, but I didn't wash it out that well and it makes my junk tingle.

This just made my day. Yay for being inventive!

I use a turkey baster, or oil spout with the wide part cut off so that it's essentially the same as a turkey baster. Medicine spoon didn't work as well for me.

It took me forever to get the medicine spoon right lol but now i'm like a pro. It's the best £3 ive ever spent. Lucky for me I dont get periods due to the contraceptive pill i'm on so I can use it all the time to pee.
The best feeling ever was when I could pee outside though I was very nervous incase someone saw me lol.

for anyone who couldn't use the basic medicine spoon.. i would recommend the travelmate.

I couldn't get a medicine spoon to work, but the travel mate works amazing for me.

Yup, minty fresh!

I just took an old toothpaste tube, cut the end off and washed it out.  So pee comes through the spout at the end. It needs some adjustments, but does the trick.  I think I wanna cover the end with duct tape.

I couldn't get the medicine spoon to work but have had two successes so far with the turkey baster.

I have a Freshette, which I got ages ago for camping purposes. The spout part is flexible and retracts back into the cup part when you want to store it. It's pink, but what can you do. I've never had a mishap with it.

I've heard good things about those, easy to use, and the cup is even flexible so you can squash it into your pocket unlike the hard plastic STPs.

this is the first i've heard of freshette, do you keep it in your pocket or is it attached to anything.

it looks pretty promising

anyone else have experience with it

You keep it in your pocket (or manpurse, or what have you). The flexible spout part helps a lot with aiming, in case you're suddenly in danger of hitting the wrong target. I suspect you'd be able to write your name in the snow, too, if that's your thing.

I can achieve my life dream!  ;D
Well, not exactly. But I have to admit I'd love to be able to do that.  8)

can it be made into a stp for a packer or is the tube too thick
  •

M.Grimm

The Freshette?

I measured it. The flexible tube part is slightly curved and is about 5 1/2" long and 1/2" thick. It can be slid up and out of the pink pee-cup part.

The pee-cup part is about 4 1/2" long, 1 1/4" wide at the widest part (more like 1" up at the front) and from top to the little spout part poking out in front (it's 'tallest' part) it is about 3" tall.

I don't know anything about making STPs, but hopefully that info can be interpreted with someone who's more experienced with it.

Edited to add: Er, that is STP+Packers, to clarify.
