So I decided today to find my old Pingu tapes and watch them. I LOVED Pingu as a child and so I thought I would just watch some again. I went into the garage to find the tapes were gone and my mum had thrown them away. I was so so angry I nearly went mental but I calmed down coz I didnt want to show my anger. Thank god I found them all on amazon. All original VHS. I didnt want DVDs as the soundtracks are different and a VHS reminds me of my childhood, how I remember Pingu. My mum has paid for them all back and we have talked. Despite getting them back I cant help but still feel so mad. I guess i'll just have to watch some on youtube for now.

I used to watch Pingu when I was small. xD I'd also be mad if they had been mine and thrown out! xD

I love the episode with the seal that keeps messing with Pingu when he's trying to fish. Pure awesome :)

You know, I have very little space, so I understand throwing things out that are old and unlikely to be used...

Yeah but the annoying thing is....we did have space. We had tons of space!

The only way to have tons of space is to not hold onto "stuff".

I do understand that it's irritating to find one's old stuff thrown away when one wants it. But wanting to hold onto old stuff because you might "one day" want it is a sure-fired way to turn into a hoarder who has no space and way too much "stuff".

Well my mum has bought them again for me coz she feels very guilty. This time I will keep them in my room instead of the garage. Im happy throwing stuff away but you have no idea how important Pingu was in my childhood and my sisters so I really hurt that they were just thrown without even asking us. Its the kind of thing I hope to pass onto my future kids coz I hate the rubbish kids programs these days.
