Don't call You strange and sophisticated names. It's characteristic for transsexual and nun.

What ever name you go with justme19, make sure that it just feels like it's you. ^_^

I always liked "Bethany" but what I did was Google a list of the most common names for the year i was born and a couple years on either side...then picked out the ones I liked best...and from those eliminated those in use by close friends or relatives who I thought might not enjoy having me use "their" name

Though i confess that since I "settled" on the one I chose, I've had a couple others pop up that made me have second thoughts. But it just seems a bit weird after I've announced myself as Laura to alter it now.

Lily!  I love names that are actual things, they sound so sweet and feminine.  I'm talking about names like Grace, Violet, Hazel.  Ones like that.

Hehe this is how I did it, too. ;D But it's one thing to find a database of names, but it's another thing to actually pick one. It's not very easy to wade through an ocean of names, it's quite overwhelming ;D

Here are some of the names I like the most (I was wanting a "cute" name):
Hazel (currently using this name)
Kelly
Vikki (Victoria)
Zoe
Emily
Crystal/Krystal
Faith

When I chose my name Jessica it happened to be the most popular name from my year of birth and the other big factor for me was there was no one else in my family with that name. I was given some good advice when choosing the name.

1. Pick and age appropriate name
2. One your happy with
3. Try and go for a "popular" name as it will help with passing/blending
4. Get a tape recorder or something like that and introduce yourself with your chosen name to get  an idea of how it sounds and feels.

Also....if the only time you write in Cursive is when you sign your name (which is the case for me) practice writing the names you are thinking about and see which ones come most natural too you.

I love the middle name i have in mind but i could never use it in a signature because it's just too "busy" in cursive.

I got my first name rather strangely we had gone in to Starbucks 3 different times and as i was well along in transition and told them Don but in the south Don and Dawn are said the same and with presenting a woman appearance they put Dawn on the cup,i just figured go with it and my middle name was Dean i just put an na  hence Deanna on it which also kept my initials the same which i found out later came in handy as you don't realize how often you sign with your initials!!

There are some great suggestions for names here, some of which I've added to my ever growing list of names I made to choose from.

I used to sign my posts with Heather, however I decided to take a step back and realized I didn't wish to commit to a name just yet. Though that name is still in the mix, I also like the name Sienna among others!!

I LOVE Heather, but there doesn't seem to be many heathers (outside Locklear) in my age range.

Besides, Heathers are young and hot, not middle aged and pudgy...
