Hello!
Half my friends call me, Carl and the other half call me, Carly. I'm pretty much androgynous, so you can call me either of those names (it'll be interesting to see how ppl address me in the following posts).
First, let me tell you about my situation (then the fun part):
Most of my family thinks I'm just a tomboy, my parents especially. I go to a private Christian college, which has strong rules about homosexuality and anything that looks like it, so I always have someone from the administration keeping an eye one me. Thing is, I earned an incredible academic scholarship there and I'm gonna graduate in one more year, so I can't really leave. Luckily, I have amazing friends who love me no matter what, and surprisingly at least half of them are gay/bi (and not just the half that call me Carl

). I'm telling you guys this because I'm trying to find a safe place to learn/question/discuss with people things are important to me. I'm androgynous in sexuality (call it "bi" if you want) and also in lifestyle, and for about 20 years I've been struggling with, I guess you would say, my gender identity.
the fun part!:
I like eco-friendly things, but I'm not a super-liberal nut; I just approve of better ways to make dildos, instead of with plastic. I prefer bicycle riding vs. cars/trains/planes, but sometimes that gets in my way because my partner currently lives 1,000 miles away. I'm artistic, majoring in CW (and Soc). I don't smoke or drink, but I don't care if you do!

I'm really just a down-to-earth kind of person who wants to socialize about something I care about.
So once again, hiya!

ps.. :/ I think i screwed up on that poll thingy. I just realized how it works. T_T
