Okay, so since starting T, my downstairs situation is growing. I also shave that region. Now my problem is regular fruit of the loom boxer briefs cause for an uncomfortable situation. I boxers or briefs, still cause for an uncomoftable situation. I'm thinking about changing from the cotton polyester blend, to silk or whatever. Thoughts? I'm not a fashionable guy. I like to get my underoos in bulk at wal-mart. So any suggestions would be awesome.

Hmm I'm not sure what discomfort you're feeling. I take it since you're thinking of changing fabric that it's chaffing on sensitive areas?

The most comfortable underwear I have are bugle boy briefs. I also have some boxers, including a silky pair. The silk is ok but it does cause for added discomfort because if you sweat at all it's going to feel damp for awhile. Also as they heat up they can cling to certain areas which is also uncomfortable.

The main thing i look for in underwear is something that doesn't have a front seam that's going to connect with a *ahem* sensitive area. That's the worst.

I don't consider myself fashionable or anything with underwear.. but since starting T I've stopped wearing Hanes and switched to Dockers boxer briefs from JCPennys.. they're tight around the legs and back side, loose around the junk, and 95% cotton (silk is impractical in south Florida unless you like peeling your underwear off).

I think it'd have to depend not just on the brand, but your body shape too.

I wear Joe Fresh Style boxer briefs. They fit really well for me and I'm a pretty thin guy, although I probably have more of a butt than most bio-men.

I've always had a sensitivity situation down there. I have to wear women's underwear under my men's stuff to prevent chafing (women's cotton ones are made of a smoother softer material and fit tighter so they rub less). Boycut briefs made for women might be a good compromise.

I've shaved my nether region once or twice out of curiousity.  For several months after it was incredibly uncomfortable no matter what I wore.  Do you think your discomfort may have to do with that?

I wear boxer briefs and like them. You can pick them up anywhere any brand, Hanes is fine. I did wear boxers at once but once I had been on T for a bit they became very uncomfortable.

Strange, I never had any discomfort from my boxer breifs. No rubbing or anything.

I think the shaving may play a part in everything cause my junk is exposed. Also another thing, is that my underwear have the tendacy to ride up because I straight as board. I think I'm just going to play around with different brands of underwear and styles. I'm currently a boxer brief fruit of the loom guy. I guess it's time to break away from my norm lol

Shaving ain't it as I am always shaved downstairs.

I've been wearing Hanes Womens cut boxer briefs for years, and anything else annoys me now.  They have a center panel that goes all the way around so theres no seams touching any sensitive areas.  I can't wear breifs any more because the elastic around my leg annoys me too much now.

ugh... I just went on the hanes website to find a link, and they dont make them anymore!  frustrating!

Well, it could be an issue for Davis, I suppose. I dunno. If you're a certain size, does the pubic hair provide some kind of natural barrier against the underwear? Or does the public hair chafe at the junk?

I guess I don't have sensitivity issues because I don't have that much growth ($%&*&*^!) and don't stick out much. But I can definitely say that silk underwear can be a pain when you get warm! And it's smooth but not necessarily soft.

One hundred percent cotton knit is usually the most comfortable. A cotton-poly blend just isn't going to be as soft--in fact, my skin is so sensitive to poly that a 25% poly blend makes me break out. I suggest that you buy a pair of all-cotton boxer briefs and give them a try. And would it help to wear looser trousers?

Gotta love it when you find exactly the product that works for you, and they discontinue it. Start hunting the Web for leftovers to buy...if it isn't too late.

I have to shave because the hair itself chafes/itches - been bothered by it since it started growing. Unshaven would be far, far worse.

I got this issue during my first month of T. You'll probably find that your dick soon desensitizes.
Silk boxers are supposed to help. I found that regular baggy cotton/polyester boxers didn't irritate me like the boxer briefs did. Cornflour was also recommended to me for when things get a bit sweaty and started chafing.
I don't find that shaving/not shaving makes a difference.

Chaffing isn't an issue. It's just my junk gets rubbed the wrong way, and like it just gets uncomfortable. I'll try the 100% cotton and everything else suggested. Like I'm open to anything, and my pants are always lose, never was one for that tight jean look lol. If I didn't feel so exposed, I'd go commando lol.

Not sure I understand, but I'm definitely out of my element. I think I'll have to bow out.

Is your underwear too loose? Maybe try something a little tighter?  I gave up on mens boxer briefs because the extra fabric in front got too uncomfortable and akward feeling, but womens boxer briefs dont do that, cause theres no extra material moving around.

OMG I saw these the last time I was at the mall &immediately wanted them!... wait they're the ones with green on them right? Lol.

I wear womens briefs under mens boxer briefs. Cause they are tight, &I need the mens undies to stop my big ol thighs from rubbing.

I've been meaning to try mens briefs though. Soo many layers.

I forgot to say that im shaved down there too, &when I just wear boxer briefs it rubs against my junk but isn't too uncomfortable.

@ ccc  yea something about them just looked too good, I had too get them :).. they did come in different colors, I'm not adventurous enough to get anything but black though.. double underwear gets old fast. that's why I like these, they're briefs but not halfway to your knees like hanes are, tight in all the right places, loose around the junk, but still tight enough to pack comfortably
