Decided to join up here. Seems like a great place to get lots of good information and meet a lot of people with the same struggles and aspirations. I'm a 20 year old FTM. I'm attending college, I haven't started any transitioning because of my parents and school, but would love to start within the next year or two. That's about it for me. Could someone tell me how to edit info on here and to post a picture? Thanks!

A little about me.  I am a pre-op M to F having lived as a female since age 8. I am starting RHT next week. My voice has always sounded female, my chest is 38A and that is all natural.
Most people asks of I am a male or female I tell them female. When I dress as a male eyelids goes up.   When I dress as a female no reaction. I am what the doctors calls having both male and female anatomy.  The police told me that I must keep my breast covered. I was at the beach swimming when tgat. Happened.  Cops was like your male? He said I never seen a guy that has not sure how to spell the word so I will say the dark arial around the nipple just like femals has. His partner said he could be on estergin I said not until next week.so they warned me. My top came off when a big waive hit me

one thing is first sure..... One has to have thick skin.

plus it helps that my insurance is paying for the HRT and surgery.

Oh I know! Well let me tell you some about me. I'm going to Clemson University to get a degree in health service administration. I want to start my transitioning, but with parents and friends that don't know, it's hard to do so. My parents know, but don't approve at all. Which makes life a lot harder. But I don't suppose this was all meant to be easy. I don't really like to refer to myself as a "transsexual" but more as someone with gender identity disorder. Having a male brain. Hm I'm really just your typical guy other than that!

The first step is always hard.  Did you do any research on discrimination laws in your state?   The more you do what makes you comfortable the easier it's gets

I say dress how you want, do not worry about what others thinks.  I made some very good friends when I stopped living a lie. I lost 2 friends.  I am now more confident. My wife says I am happier all around. Always be true go your self.

My neice told me something interesting.

"You do know we Have one moreover thing on common? What would that be? I am just starting puberty and your starting your 2nd puberty. "   My neice is 11. And after thinking what she said I agree I guess we will experience and be their and Have girls talk.

Oh yeah I already dress how I want. I have a few friends who I knew wouldn't care and they know and have supported me tremendously. I still haven't worked up the courage to get my hair cut though. And I would really love to start T, but I just know if I can wait two more years after college is over the ride could be a lot easier.
