eep!  :(

It's been 6 days, and I'm nervous, can't sit still, and bouncing off the walls, really. I'm crying myself to sleep for no good reason (not that I ever seem to need a reason to cry, but now its even worse) and that's if I can get to sleep at all. I'm still allowed my spiro but no more E until 2 weeks after surgery... geez a month disconnected from my lifeline, that's kind of scary. :-\  At least I know it's only temporary. I can't even imagine now how I ever managed without it.

It's probably more about pre-surgery jitters than all that much E withdraw.  Your body metabolizes estrogen pretty slowly so it probably isn't that.  Also your estradiol levels won't drop to zero.  As you may know, your body produces about ten percent of your estrogen through your adrenal glands.  And your spiro is suppressing the testosterone so you will not lose any ground until you get back on the HRT.

But you are just a few days away from something that you've been waiting your life whole life for.  That would make anyone nervous, really!

I was a nervous as a cat prior to my trip and I didn't calm down until after I was in the air.

You'll be fine, hon.  Just do some breathing exercises and try to calm down.  (Yeah, like me telling you is going to help.  Sorry, but I had to.)

thank you Sandy :) I don't feel apprehensive exactly, but I do feel very excited! And like you said this is something I've really been waiting for my whole life. Actually reminding me to breathe is a good idea, sometimes I get so excited I seem to forget that little detail lol
