Yeah, I'd gathered that the red swollen pointiness isn't permanent.

I do wonder, though, whether or not the resulting dick gets significantly bigger when erect (and whether it gets properly hard like a natal male one). My current equipment doesn't, exactly.

If you end up checking the photos on that website, realize that they're mostly immediately post-op. Metoidioplasties continue to improve significantly over the months and often years past the surgery.

They have just updated it with followup photos for some of the cases.
