Even though I do have my ups and downs like everyone, I think it's important for us to remain positive and maintain a sense of humor about ourselves and our situation. Transition can be difficult for sure; but it's a fascinating journey, and has more than its share of wonderful moments.

Alas, alack and anon, Good Vee, methinks your I.Q. is, perchance, of the most extraordinary sort. No surprise! Many transpeople are a great deal smarter than the general run of the population. I'm going to do a series of wiki (Fie upon me for a lout! I misspelled wiki ... and had to go back and correct it ... Sorry 'bout that, hon!)(Proves I ain't got no brains!) articles about exactly that subject presently.
Feel free to sally forth with rotomontades aplenty, and we will savor them with utmost relish, me faire lass!

On the serious side, yes, you are SO right. Transition DOES have its WONDERFUL moments! I'm absolutely finding that out. I'm now 7+ months into HRT and, all in all, am having the the time of my life ... even if I do get some raised-eyebrow, side-long glances at the mall and other public places. What a journey! Wouldn't miss it for the world. Welcome to Susan's Place and DO post OFTEN.
