Ease of inserting earrings

Like 6 weeks after my piercing I tried to replace the tiny permanent studs with a crappy, 10k gold, larger stone stud for permanent wear. after wearing it for 30 hours or so my ears got really, really upset... it took almost a year and a half for my piercings to perm.

I rarely wear earrings today. In fact, I don't know where my favorite pair are (somewhere in the bathroom closet - i threw them at my jewelry box but it was closed, so they bounced off) right now. I've been meaning to get another set for like a year and a half, but... it would mean having to wear those damn things for another year, and the pus/scabbing/seeping/bleeding would probably be unappealing to my girlfriend.

I had my ears pierced on teh 15th of jan this year and since then they've mostly been well behaved. They have infected maybe two or three times but it's only this last time that it has been a worry. I currently have a puffed up left ear lobe which is effecting my sleep as it hurts when I roll over. I'm keeping it clean and it seems to be better than yesterday.

For the past month or two I've tried taking them out to clean them but it feels like they are stuck in a little groove that they won't pop out of. I don't know how to get them off.. I've tried pulling as hard as I can but nothing.

Once my left ear has healed I'm going to try again and maybe be a little more demanding with them. They have to come off sooner or later!! :S

For people having trouble with their piercings - wear titanium, don't move or touch your piercing if you can help it and clean 1-2 times a day with a sea salt soak (1/4 teaspoon of sea salt in a mug of hot water) it can be uncomfortable to bend your neck to soak your ear so you may want to put a towel on your shoulder and hold the mug to your ear as tight as you can. You can also do chamomile soaks is it's just agrivated, sea salt soaks are mostly for healing piercings but if it's mostly healed but pissed off put a chamomile tea bag in a mug of hot water and soak it like with the sea salt soak.

Also if they are swollen take ibuprofen.

i got  an orbital in one lobe, and that's really a pain to change/clean.... like you now it fits, but won't go back in for ****...

Most of their stuff is geared towards "tweens", but some of their stuff is surprisingly sophisticated.
Wet Seal, Forever 21 and H&M sometimes have neat stuff cheap.

In Canada, I head to Ardene for cheap earrings.

Don't forget the dollar stores either, they often have good remnant stock.

Most of this jewelery is poor quality and generally has nickle and/or lead in it, no matter if it says "nickle free" or not.
It's cheep, but you're getting what you pay for.

I can usually find my piercing holes very easy, well used to it, my bridesmaid pick out a beautiful pearl bride set for my wedding in a few weeks time which includes a pearl necklace, bracelet and matching earrings, the earrings have a straight pin with a clip backing, they are absolutely gorgeous, very elegant and feminine, sometimes diamond earrings can be over the top, pearls are simple but very pretty, fit for a lady lol

Fumbling, even with a mirror... my ears were pieced when I was a baby, when I used to wear earrings I could easily put one in but the other side was weird, like the hole wasn't straight. Also, I noticed because they were pierced so early my ears grew differently and the holes aren't even. Doesn't matter though, I haven't wore earrings in at least a decade.

We're having a Civil Partnership Wedding Cindy, I live in old fashion conservative Ireland, anyway my dress is a strapless & sleeveless, the hemline just goes below my knee (tea-lenght) the fabric is satin with a beading design on the bodice, I was a little worried being strapless and sleeveless, hopeing its not too revealing lol, Iv DD boobs, the dress has a build in bra with support pads so I won't have to wear a bra, with the good support my boobs look instantly bigger, Im going on the advice of my bridemaid who says it complements my cleavage lol, the dress comes in 4 colours, white, ivory, champagane and pink, I didn't want white so my dress is pink, if its chilly on my big day Iv a nice pretty jacket with feathers, I think the dress and jacket suit my skin tone, to complete my look Iv a beautiful white lace parasol with pink trims, just so nervous, thank you for asking.
