can a regular therapist write a letter for T?

I know it would probably be best to use a gender therapist. But if the regular therapist will be able to do it, that would be better for me. Because I can't afford to go to the next town, which is the only one that has gender therapists.

Before I signed anything I asked my therapist and he said he could get me a letter. I'm not sure if he's a gender therapist but I've been told any licensed therapist can. You just have to make sure the therapist knows what you want out of therapy. If you have problems, get a new one. My therapist made it clear if I need to see someone else, to ask.
