Great news - I do hope you have fun.

but more than that I really do hope you can soon find the moment to have that little chat with your mum. You will feel so much better when you've done it I promise you. :)

Enjoy your night out.

awesome girl! Yes I would HIGHLY suspect they know if they're inviting you to a girls night out and a sleepover.

Oh -- you mean you're pre-transition? Awesome, yes, that would seem to suggest overtly announce they know what's up. Sounds like a good time to come out, if you're not already. Something like, "So, when did you figure it out, that I'm not really a guy?"

Anyway, have fun. That kind of inclusion after being excluded all you life is just such an incredible joy!
All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.

go but also protect your heart.  If these people have not been told, by you, then they could be ether curious or are setting you up.  Just keep your options home open.

But also go and have fun with "the girls".

... and it doesn't occur to you that whilst everyone around you obviously knows or suspects something and by your own admission she outright asked you if there was something you wanted to share with her, you held out on her and refused to come clean?

I would say its glaringly obvious what you've done! She knows you are holding out on her about something and it is upsetting her. A girls best friend is supposed to be her mum after all and friends share things. They don't lie and hold out on each other, say eveything is fine when patently it isn't!

Surely you are not missing the painfully obvious answer here? You can't be that determined to avoid this can you? Really? I still say tell her now.

Glad you enjoyed you night though - but put it to good use and use that fact as a conversation opener. :)

Great progress, the night with the girls.
Support from a natal female or two can make a massive difference to your confidence and quality of life .... it does for me.

I think rejennyrated is right and that you need to tell your Mum.
To those who understand, I extend my hand
To the doubtful I demand, take me as I am
Not under your command, I know where I stand
I won't change to fix your plan, Take me as I am (Dreamtheatre - As I Am)
I started out with nothing..... and I still have most of it left.
