I bought a tri-top chest binder from Underworks about 2 weeks ago  ;D I was just wondering how long they last? I kinda get anxious (if thats the word?) and worried that every time I put it on, its stretching out and is getting less effective each day...stupid brain :P

I wear it almost everyday...for over six hours each time. I dont wear it in the water tho  ;) How long did your binder last before you needed a replacement? How long should mine last?

I have a tritop and I feel its barely lasting me 6 months. Only about half of that was everyday wear to even a few days of over night wear.
Its different for everyone, some ppl have their binders last for years.
I think its only a little less effective, idk really, our minds do play tricks. Its just that the stitching is coming apart.

Mine last about a year and half, I wear it everyday, for about 17 hours, I bike, and move around a lot at work as well.  I've never had any issues with the stitching coming undone.

It could just be the mind trick thing though--My mother recently told me that I get pretty darn flat with it, which I suppose it relatively true as my binder is able to touch my sternum, but I'm still incredibly self-concious about it, and I hesitate to agree with her.

Let's see... I bought my T-Kingdom 801 early in March 2010. Nearly 5 months later it has stretched significantly (in combination with breast tissue breaking down a bit) to the extend where I don't wear it unless I have a layer under it. It's been great to me so I might actually try to 'repair' it with some stitchwork.

I got another binder, tri-top (like) around 2 months ago. It still binds just as well and when I 'think' it's binding less I just give it a good wash. If I have to make an estimate on how long it will last me I'd say 8-10 months.
