Immediately after this, almost as if a sub-category of the above, appears what for children might be the most personal question of all: "How do you identify your sexual orientation?" The options present a bewildering menu for even the most broad- minded of families: "Heterosexual (straight), Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Queer, Two-spirited, Questioning, and Not Sure."

Trans as a sexual orientation. Shows right there that the idiots did next to zero research on the subject before throwing it onto their survey. I make sure to bring the distinctions between gender, sex, and sexual orientation every time I talk to someone or when I lecture.
