Actually though, it wasn't that bad.  I think I may have only yelped once.

Anyway, I remember a while ago (or maybe I made it up) that people were interested in how long to wait after SRS to have Brazilian or bikini waxing.  I asked the Suporn clinic (where I had my SRS) and they said at least 3 months, but 4 would be much better.  They told me that all of the suture trails had to be completely out or I would have major problems.

I waited 5 months, and I think that was just fine.  I didn't have any problems and I was in and out in a couple minutes.  And, as far as I can tell my waxologist (esthetician) didn't have a clue that I was trans, but I don't really know sure.  She didn't seem to care if she did.

I hope that helps someone out.

Do you do them yourself? or go to the salon? Do they ask questions? I would have NEVER done it pre-op but kudos to you, do you wear a bikini also?

I have it done at a salon, I had to tell them i was TS after i scheduled over the phone and came in they said they couldnt tell looking at me.  I asked if that was going to be a problem, they said nope, our wax tech knows how to do men and women so you shouldnt be a problem.  She was really nice, and we talked as she worked, she was very professional about it but a nice person in general, she felt happy i could be myself, and she mentioned to me that i had an air of femininity that makes it hard if not impossible to tell.

Anyway, yes i do wear a bikini to the beach, but not if i intend to surf, in that case i wear a surfing wetsuit. I dont have the bottom portion in the picture but here is how i look in a bikini (top part, but the bottom is basically proportioned all the way down, i got some hips so it looks normal, and i can hide it pretty well).

I have been thinking about getting a Brazilian for a long time. Does it hurt? I am not a big fan of pain down there. Been there, done that. Would really like to hear more about your experience before I decide to do it or not.

Heh, yeah it hurts, its hot wax and ripping hairs out lol.  The experience wasnt bad though if you get a tech that knows what she is doing you have a nice chat, listen to some music, its nice, except for the occasional pain.

It's not pain free, but I think it's worth it.

I always think that the wax feels nice (whether for a brazillian or legs).

It's a rip and then it's over in a flash.

DO IT!!!!  You can always opt to never do it again, but unless you try, you'll never know.

Well I did it!!! I called last week and made an appointment for the weekend. I have to admit I was bit nervious about it. Who wouldn't be their first time?

When I arrived the place had some really soothing music and a candle lit behind the check in desk. The girl checked me in and brought me to a room where she said I can I change into a robe they had hanging and also lock away any valuables I have along with my purse.

After changing I came out and she led me to another room. The same music was playing and they had a candle lit there too. It was soooooo relaxing. My esthetician came in and introduced herself.  She told me about how the Brazilian Wax works, what she does etc.

She also asked if I knew about Vajazzeling and if I would like that done. I had heard about it and knew it had something to do with Jennifer Love Hewitt, but wasn't 100% sure. She explained it involved placing small crystal ( Swarovski no less) in a design above my vagina on my mons area. The crystals would stay on about a week under normal conditions and she pulled out a selection of designs.  I was hoooked!! I choose sunrise/set pattern with pink and white crystals which she put aside and put the others away.  She  then asked that I lie back in inclined chair. She said I can leave the robe open or close, as long as the bottom part is open.

She lincled the chair back so I was laying on my back, bottom of my robe open and my vagina exposed to a stranger. I trimmed the day before so it wasn't a total mess down there. She then asked if I was ready and I said "yes" and felt a warm sensation as she put on the warm wax. Next came the paper and a quick 1,2,3 riiiipppp.  OooooooWeeeeee. The first few hurt, but I quickly  got over it. She complimented that I trimmed and said some girls don't which means more hair to remove, which means a longer process and more pain. In 5 minutes or so she was done with the front and asked me to flip over to my stomach. Another few minutes and she was done with my back and put some baby powder on me. She then asked that I turn over again.  Again some baby powder on my front. That was the closest I had a strangers hand to my vagina since my surgery.

Next the Vajazzelling. She wiped off my mons area with a terry cloth towel to remove excess powder,  and placed the design still on it backing paper in the general area where it would go, just below the waist band of my panties. She gave me a  mirror to see and I liked it.  She made a few small marks to help her orientate the design and began using a tweezers to pic off the crystals from the paper and place them on me. This was absolutely painless and took maybe 25 minutes. I am really not sure how long it took, since we were chatting etc.

Once done she raised the back of the chair and gave me back the mirror to see. I loved it!  She thanked me for the time and said I can go back and change. I have to admit I love the way my bald vagina looks and feels in my panties and the vajazelled part sits right below my panties waistline as planned, kinda my own little secret, which someone else may get to share soon. ;)  I left feeling very very feminine.

It never once came up that I was trans and I have no clue if she knew or not, she never said or indicated something look out of place. I don't know if I'll do this all the time, but may make one more trip back before the end of bikini season. :)
