How did I miss this when it was posted?

Last years' event was highly recommended to me.  I couldn't attend because I only found out about it a week before the event.  I do plan to attend this year, and would recommend anyone who can afford to go to San Jose for a long weekend to do so.  I have met two girls here who said their epiphany came when they had to leave that magical weekend and return to drab.

Selling a dream

Steph

Well, at least one of the surgeons on my short list will be there in person, and I can choose to avoid the marketing pitches...  ;)

Selling a dream

Steph

Where there is a perceived need, there is money to be made!  I don't know that it is terribly different than wedding conventions and such.  I'll agree with you Steph, for many of us here, it is selling a dream. Most of us would rather save the money for something more important.
