Degrassi again forges new ground with this week's two-parter (beginning tonight) "My Body is Cage," which reveals that new classmate Adam (Disney Channel vet Jordan Todosey) is transgendered — not a lesbian, but a boy trapped in a girl's body. It's a vital distinction most teenagers are likely unaware of, and which is portrayed in a clear and powerful manner.
