I understand your concern, but there's not much you can do about how they read you. If they read you wrong, they will probably assume that you have a slightly exotic female name. If they're not sure, they could still go this route, depending on how well you "pass" IRL.
But you can set the stage early on by referring to yourself as male during the first week. Do it as naturally as you can, without its seeming contrived. Act as if there's no doubt whatsoever. Come across as casual and confident and unconcerned. Pretty soon, it ceases to be an act and becomes reality.
