Welcome to Susans.

You will undoubtedly find many people here who can help you and offer you some support. I know there are others from middle eastern countries who also come here so you are certainly not alone.

To answer your questions on hormones and SRS

1. No 22 is NOT too late. I started at about that age myself. Many many people here started a long time after that.
2. NO SRS does NOT normally remove sexual activity and orgasm. Very occasionally it has happened either because of incompetence on the part of the surgeon or bad luck on the part of the patient but such instances are very rare indeed. To claim that it is in any way the normal result is an outright LIE! Orgasm, and sexual experiences are different afterwards, for very obvious reasons, but if the surgery is the right choice for you then the end result is if anything a better experience than before.
3. Hormones do nothing to alter bone structure, however muscle mass does diminish considerably unless you take positive steps to maintain it.

I hope that these answers may be of some help, however please do be aware that it is not permitted here to post any details about hormone dosages, as the general advice is that such things should always been done with medical supervision. I think I can, without violating any rules, make you aware that such information is published on various other medical and trans websites. If, by reason of your delicate legal situation, you do get forced to "go it alone" I would STRONGLY advise you to make absolutely sure that you do thorough research and cross check your information with several sources beforehand, as taking HRT without proper knowledge can be extremely dangerous.

Ideally though you should try to find a way to get some medical help. Failing any other option, the best place to obtain such treatment within the middle east would be to consider moving to Iran, where such treatment is permitted and where there are many experienced doctors that can help you and avoid any of the very real dangers otherwise involved.

Dear Layla

I will add my full support to Jenny's advice. I think you may need to start planning to leave wherever you are to a place that accepts gender diversity. Sadly even if you could get  access to hormones the affect on you may be enough for ignorant and non-tolerant people to attack you.  Your ability to live as your gender will almost certainly be impossible. Can you foresee yourself being able to dress, act, socialise and support yourself as a woman? If not you need to plan ahead.

My heart and my love to you

There are people in the world who accept you.

Hi Layla

answer all your ??? ??? ??? by finding time to read through all the previous posts on Susans.
I don't envy your situation but you might think on moving to find studies or work in another country.
Good Luck

first Iran is not the paradise for tss'  and thay permit TS HRT due to obtaining the right to kill gays >>> and no country in the middle east welcome more Ts on their land ( there are many disasters ) >>>

I think the paradise is America , Netherlands , Canada   , many other Not the middle east

I will try to move to one of this but I think America will be my first choice

If you are thinking about emigrating, you will probably know of the difficulities.

There are immigration controls of course and sadly, these are exagerated for many for Islamic countries.

Then there are contacts in these new countries, which you will need if you are not to be utterly alone.

I found this which gives some links to gay Muslim organisations.

I am well aware of the negativity many of the more vocal Muslims, (the minority, most Muslims are like most people everywhere, just ordinary, decent people, living and letting live). I know, in some of these types of sites, there are negative comments. But you will need some support. They might also advise you on how to emigrate.

If I find any more I will post them here. Best of luck and don't give up hope.
