Is klinefelter syndrome XXY consider intersex?.....Does it affect legal gender markers in the USA?...Just curious.

YES! Absolutely Klinefelters is 100% an intersex condition.

Not sure about the legal situation in the USA but that country is not always known for its logicality over matters pertaining to sex.

In the States, your birth certificate dictates your gender marker on the state and federal level.  I'm no expert on the legal issues, but it's my understanding it will vary from state to state based on their laws. 

I should point out a few states allow changes to the gender marker on your driver's license even if your birth certificate isn't changed.   But that doesn't change your legal status.

Unfortunately, there's been a lot of misunderstanding thanks to the name of that movie. The main character in that film doesn't actually have Klinefelter's syndrome. Alex's condition was somewhat ambiguous, but definitely not Klinefelter's.
