Several rants rolled in to one

I live in a 4 bedroom house I was sharing with three other people. I've lived here for around 4 months and during this time I have been the ONLY person to bother cleaning up. The house has all sorts of problems, leaks, insect infestations, shower that's falling apart, my door doesn't shut/lock....etc. I feel like all I've done since I moved in is ring the landlord to tell him about all these problems and got nothing from him in regards to the phone calls.

Now the three flatmates have DISAPPEARED, moved out without giving notice and left their huge mess behind.

The landlord is demanding I clean everything up and generally fix up the house - now that I'm the only one left it's apparently my responsibility. If this isn't done over the weekend, he is evicting me. He's also turned off the gas supply - so I have no hot water.

I've been looking for a new place and I think I've got one, so I'm not too worried, I'm just playing a waiting game with my new estate agent.

I rang my sister to have a bit of a rant about this and also ask if I could come over to take a shower seeing as I've been without water for a while and all I got was a huge earful about how I should just get off my arse and clean up and not expect everyone around me to do everything for me and blah blah blah. She then asked if my nephew could come hang out at my place for the night and made me feel like a huge jackass when I said I didn't really want anyone over here right now. So sure, yell at me for no reason and then expect me to jump at the opportunity to babysit so you can go ahead and get hammered - seems perfectly reasonable.

Meh, there was more to complain about, but this is pretty long already, so I'll leave it there for now :D

Cripes, I'm sorry. I had a housemate who did this to me quite a ways back...he had provided the living room furniture, the TV, the VCR, and the microwave, so I agreed to pay the deposits for rent and utilities. You should have seen his bathroom...and his second bedroom, where he painted miniatures all day...well, I didn't get my rental deposit back, and my ex-roomie helped himself to my gas and electric deposit because I had been foolish enough to put both our names on the account.

I'll never do THAT again.

To heck with your sister. She was out of line, in my opinion.

I hope you manage to work it all out and get comfortably situated elsewhere. I'm sure you don't need this headache right now.

I appear to have made this situation a lot worse by running my mouth. This sister does crap like this all the time, yells at me and acts like a douchebag in general. I gave her a great big piece of my mind in an email and she's basically told me to get bent and never talk to her again...well she actually just ignored me and got my nephew to email me.

If I got evicted before getting this new place the plan was to crash at my sisters, obviously I can't do that now.

My other sister would have also been the one paying my deposits and such for the new place and from the reaction I got from the nephew I'm assuming sister one has called sister two and had a good bitch about me and skewed the whole thing to make me look like an arse.

Not good, I think I may actually have to fix the house so I can carry on living here. I'm far too pregnant and tired for this crap, the mess is unbelievable and I don't even have any bloody hot water to clean with.

Gah I hate people D=

Sympathies, this sucks.

I would help you if I could, but I can't.
