What are some things people have said to you that makes you feel really good when they have no idea how you feel or that you want to transition.

Ill give 2 things people that have said to me.

The other week, sombody said to me, you hair has grown so much longer! Can I tie it back just to see how it would look? She tied it back and then paused, kind of gave me a strange look and said "wow you look like a girl" She has no idea about how I feel either.

Another one that girls always say to me is. "Your eye lashes are so long! I wish mine were like that!"

Somewhat along the same lines...

Years ago in middle school I went over a friends house and he introduced me to his uncle. My given name is somewhat gender neutral, and after introducing me to his uncle, my friend's uncle's reply was: I thought you went to an ALL BOYS school? My hair was on the longer side, but the comment still took me aback... as well as my friend who was like WTF!

His uncle was an MD, which also really made me go hmmm?

Hm...I've had girls complain that they wish they had my skinny body and my eyes. That's about it though.

Once I was roughing around with my nephew and was trying to give him a red belly while his dad had his shirt over his head, and he thought I was his mother because my hands are so soft. "Mom, is that you???" lol

A while back at the beach while sunbathing, a woman asked me how I keep my figure.She was my 4th grade teacher,she couldnt tell.

Ok Best one so far was at the hospital getting a bone density scan done. The lady quickly checked my documentation and informed me that I hadnt filled in the womans only section. That put a smile on my face

I went over to a friend's house for game night.  The other female gamer was talking to the friend's mother in the kitchen, and joined the chat.  I complimented the gamer friend on her new haircut, and the mother said, "Wow, most guys don't notice things like that!" in a more or less positive way.

I think at the time, she might have thought I was a feminine gay man, but now she knows I'm transsexual.  (But I am gay, just not in the way she might have thought.  )
