> There's a manga/anime called Hetalia Axis Powers (or Hetalia World Series depending). Yes that title does sound...insulting, but honestly it's a very good anime. It's about different events in history; except all the countries are personified and they all interact accordingly, resulting in hilarity. Of course, every character--even Japan--is a mess of stereotypes, but somehow that makes every character all the more loveable, somehow. :D Plus poking fun at each country is half of why it's so funny.

> There's just weird stuff that goes on too. Utter chaos in the G8 meetings, Cuba karate chopping Canada in the head thinking he's America, Belarus always wanting to marry her brother Russia, Poland talking like a valley girl and crossdressing (then again, the crossdressing only happens in the webcomic. Can't wait to see him rocking a Santa Baby dress in the anime!), the Holy Roman Empire chasing after chibi Italy...

> It started out as a webcomic, then the fanbase grew and grew; it was translated, made into a manga, and then finally into 5-minute webisodes. And now Funimation is dubbing it in English. I reccommend it, especially for any history nuts out there! (it's certainly taught me a thing or two!)
