Thanks all again for the well wishes.  Spoke with Dr. Brassard this morning--told me everything went well, I had a lot of skin and he mentioned that he gave me over 5 inches which is good to me!   :)  Now all I have to do is maintain it!  Had two great meals so far and am looking forward to my third--I'm sooooooo hungry.

On a side note, I emailed my brother and told him that this feels like getting kicked in the groin and then having a pepsi can shoved up your butt!!!

Lol Kristyn....

When in doubt.. more meds!!!!  I don't look forward to going back under the knife for my revision in January, eeek!  Not many people can say they've had SRS...... twice! lol..

Congrats again!  Hurry back to Toronto!  If you need anything just shout!  (though next week is a bit hectic for me, with a huge work project happening, yuck).

Something is definitely gone, and I'm not talking about the obvious.  I'm talking about something inside, spiritually maybe, who knows--but it definitely is different.  I know I did the right thing.

Very well said, Kristyn.  This is the start of a wonderful life for you. :icon_flower:

Thanks Melan, that's very thoughtful of you.   :)  Please keep us posted on your upcoming surgery.  BTW I had my first bowel movement today--Friday.  Also just a slight complication with a leaky catheter--everytime I go to urinate it dribbles from where it enters/exits  into my urethra.  Brassard uses a smaller catheter I guess to compensate for swelling.  They figure that this is caused by the reduction of swelling I'm experiencing.  Oh well, if this is the worst thing that can happen, I can live with it for a few days

Thanks Kate.  I know now what is gone and I'll write about in the dysphoria thread.
