Two Month Update

Hi all again,

This will probably be my last post on the subject as things are, well, just routine and was told by my consultant surgeon on Tuesday to go and live life.

Well I'm going to comment on the 7th week to two month period. The seventh week found me with a very sore and severe rash over a lot of my outer and inner labia. It was causing some trouble dilating.  Any way I got in contact with the hospital again and they asked me to send a picture which I did. They then phoned me back after receiving this and suggested it could either be thrush or a rash caused by urination. Well to cut a long story short it turned out to be caused by the lube I was using and the hospital then told to change it for another one called "Sylk." Three days after switching all the rash had gone. The previous lube also prevented my clitoral and urethra area to heal properly as it was difficult to keep dry as it was impossible to wipe/wash away all the lube from the area. It was very sticky stuff. Still in the end the problem was solved.

So by the end of week seven and the beginning of week eight the healing process had gained really quick ground. I also began to feel so much better and my strength and stamina returned. I had to go back to my consultant surgeon for a post op assessment at two months and had an examination. So much had happened in the two weeks that he said I had healed really well, that I had perfect results and depth 5inches, which was what he had given me so no loss. He also said the width was good too. There was no granulation at all and he also said I could cut down to dilating only twice a day which I have been doing since my return. There seems no problem with this either. I was surprised as other girls seem to need more.

At the end of the consultation I was given all the paper work to get my gender recognition certificate and my birth certificate changed and told to go and live my life. So cool, as I'm able to go swimming now so I'm getting some exercise which I missed. The only thing they wouldn't let me do yet was my running. I was told to wait another month until I was three months post op.

I am so pleased with the result, my original consultation with my surgeon in May was that I wanted it to look as natural as possible and be sensate. Well I can confirm the natural look, hehe and just by accident I can confirm the sensate nature of my new anatomy, hehe. Well he did say to go and live my life.

Thanks for following my journey and every blessing for your journey too,

It's a little like when Dorothy lands in Oz and everything goes from black-and-white to full, glorious colour.  Have a happy new, wonderous life, Stardust.

Thanks all, just a little update,

I had said I had already discovered that my clit was sensate by accident well today it wasn't by accident, hehe. The first two were literally because of dreams and I woke up having the orgasm. Well today I wanted to see if I was sensate being awake, (well its so much more fun, hehe). WOW, yes, yes, yes, yes, hehe it is.

I think my surgeon must be a miracle working after only being just over nine weeks post op. Its so cool and lasted for such a long time after. I am over the moon about it. It was a concern of mine and having the surgery that I might not have been. This life is soooooooooo fantastically brilliant. O! I did have a little help from a little friend of mine, my favourite toy boy, hehe. I think I need to buy a bigger one though, hehe.

"If you have fear of some pain or suffering, you should examine whether there is anything you can do about it. If you can, there is no need to worry about it; if you cannot do anything, then there is also no need to worry. Do not think only of your own joy, but vow to save all beings from suffering. This is sharing in its highest form and purity beyond all poisons of this world."

[Dalai lama]

I think of the above words Stardust when women of courage (and there are many posting here).... care to share.....

Live long and prosper.....

Thanks all for your replies. I always thought it was nice to read of others when they had had their surgery as it gave me insight as to what to expect. So when my day came I vowed I'd do the same.

Blessing in all your transitions too.
