Yay!!!!! I just got off the phone with Steph. Everything went perfect, everything is fine!

She says she opted for the epidural (I didn't know that was even an option? Brave girl!) instead of general anethesia, so she was awake for the entire procedure. AND there was no real "recovery" or wakeup time obviously... the girl is as lucid and funny as ever already, lol...

She said she has and had no pain, though I think she's on Demoral(?) right now, so she got tired... but she sounds GREAT, our happy little new baby girl, lol.

I think she said they'll have her up and walking as soon as tomorrow... I think that's when they move her to the recovery place too.

But all went well!!!!

Woo hoo!!!!

Hi Everyone:

I'll pass on your well wishes to Steph.  Listen epid is the way to go if have the choice.  The girl next to her went for a general and was till out of it 8 hours later.  I just couldn't believe how with it she was.  She's doing so well she's giving me a shopping list... :D.  First item is an apple lap top.  yeah right....  So you see she is doing great.

Talk to you all later.

What an excellent choice of computer. Shows her full faculties remain undimmed.  ;)

Great to hear news and am so pleased for her... also surprised to hear that epidural is an option. And up on her feet so soon! My GA & the morphine knocked the stuffing out of me for days...

Thank you for the update. WOW what a girl and epidural. I know I was out for a long time. Way to go. She will be up and about in no time and she can shop for herself, with Gill. I'm so happy for the both of them.
