I have been on hormones now for like 10 months, through my doctor and I have a B cup> However, I was approached by another gurl today and she is offering to inject my breasts  with silicone. She is going to charge me 1,500. I told her I was definitely interested. She is going to Mexico to get the silicone and wont be back till tomorrow. I have already given her 500.00. So it looks like by this time tomorrow ill be EXTREMELY happy!!! YAY

Silicone breast implants are encased for a reason.. Without the "bag" of an implant the silicone will migrate to other parts of the body and cause other health issues.. There is a reason why no reputable surgeon will do this procedure..

Have a look here:

Silicone causes a lot of major health issues if not used properly. It can also become rock hard as time goes on. You can have some really horrible health issues if you choose to let this "girl" preform this dangerous procedure on you.

I'd strongly recommend you save up your money and go to an actual surgeon who can offer not only better, but safer results, and then they don't also have to deal with having to fix issues caused by the injections (if they are even correctable).

Am I the only one who suspects you'll never see her again?

No, no, NO. This is bad.  Silicone from Mexico?! This is just atrocious.

Iris, Please don't do it.  See a plastic surgeon and get proper implants.

EDIT: I'm not sure if this is allowed, but this link shows the disastrous consequences of having silicone injections.

free range silicone from Mexico.  Why not just inject rat poison.  It would be quicker.

This. Injecting silicone fluid of any type is extremely hazardous to your health. Mexican or otherwise.

??? maybe it is just me but your comment does not seem helping at all....i  thought that this was a place that we trans can bring things up that we are facing or as in my case considering...if i wanted sarcastic reactions all i need to do is talk to non trans people

Iris, they ARE trying to help.  They're trying to let you know that getting silicone injections directly into your breasts is VERY dangerous, and probably illegal.  It's not a trans issue at all, this is the same for natal females as well.  It's just a REALLY bad idea.  Please reconsider.

Exactly. No one here is trying to be hurtful but we're trying to get you to see how bad you can be setting yourself up if you go through with this. You could literally be killing yourself with this procedure.

Exactly.  More women have died or been disfigured from that stuff.  Don't do it.  PLEAAASSSSSSEEEEEEE.  That is why I said my comment.  It will kill you.

Nooooo....this is a seriously bad idea.... and will damage your body full-stop....  >:-)

If free-flowing silicone is injected into by a non-licensed amateur.......

I cannot believe anyone would be this desperate to harm themselves?

So please, to this buddy say "no thanks!"

Realistically, the silicone is probably not from Mexico, it is more likely than not from Home Depot or Lowes, and this is not a joke. The cost of this will be well beyond the $1,500 you are willing to pay her know, you could pay with your life and/or your health.

The original reply I wrote (and discarded) was WAY blunter than Janet's. Have you looked at the links I and others have provided? It is a seriously bad idea. If/when your "friend" (no real friend would suggest/recommend this) returns, I'd get your $500 back and put the $1500 towards a proper BA with a reputable surgeon.

She might have just taken your money and ran you know.

Anyways, it is never ever recommended to have silicone injected directly into your body. It can be lethal.

Save up enough money to go to a proper surgeon who can give you implants.

And think about it thoroughly. Silicone might not be the best option, especially if you've already grown to a full B cup. Many of us can't get even that much on just hormones alone.

OK I now get it, there is serious possibility that I may die. How long do you think it would take to kill me from the time of injection? 1 year, 2 years 5 years?????? just a question.

It all depends on several factors, what exactly is injected and where, how your body reacts to it, etc. It can cause your body's immune system to try and kill the silicone, but since it can't eat through it it'll start attacking your body eating muscles and organs. I believe this sort of thing can happen within a year.

How long is a piece of string? Depends entirely on your bodies reaction.. It might be a year, it might be 10.. But either way you will be very sick for much of that time.. Aside from the risks from the silicone itself, there's also the risk of infection, which could manifest itself in as little as 24-48 hours and will lead to destructive surgery on your breasts to remove the silicone and infected tissue (your breasts).

So to boil it down to the Pros and Cons:
Pros:
Larger Breasts

Cons:
Misshapen breasts
Grossly uneven breasts
Hardening of the silicone
Risk of infection
Risk of requiring a radical mastectomy
Risk of serious illness
Risk of death

Are you really going to consider this, given the risks - which are very real..
