I have often felt like Kitty - but then seeing some real - true to life MTFs - that I thought were beautiful - actually gave me hope. Hope that there were in fact medications that work. That if they could do it - so could I. Of all ages. But then of course - like with all people - real women come in all variations. I have seen lots of real women that are hardly passable - as women. I have seen cross dressers that are prettier than many girls. Being pretty is hard work.

Well Izumi, in order for me to look as good as you do I would need to join mafia as well and a good paying mafia at that!

You look pretty good to me in your picture. ^_^

Show me a woman who tells you she does not want to look like someone else and I will show you a liar.  We are all such vain creatures.  All women dream of being beautiful and glamorous.  Just part of the game.  I have burned up waaaaay too much energy in doing that.   I keep reminding myself that I can pass and, while guys don't hover around me, they don't make a bee line for the nearest exit.  I guess I should not dare hope for more.  Somewhere along the line we have to be happy and accept who we are and I think that is the hardest thing for us to do.

@ Izumi:

Absolutely true, what you said about surgery.  There are some surgeons out there who are true artists, and it's amazing what they can do.  Money, of course, is the issue.  Naturally, the best ones are way expensive and, thereby, out of the reach of many people here.  However, folks CAN get these surgeries if they really want to.  People take out car loans every day that are as much or more in face value than most of the surgeries you are talking about.  Many of us on here DO have THAT option.  It's just a matter of how much we really want the surgery and if we can somehow fit it into the budget.  Not everbody can, and I deeply feel for these people.  If I ever make serious money, I want to set up a trust to fund GRS/SRS and cosmetic surgeries and counseling sessions for the less fortunate among our trans community.

Lastly, I get a kick out of your reference to the Mafia.  People generally think the Sicilian Mafia is the toughest, but the Russian Mafia is reputedly VERY tough.  However, even they don't outdo the Thai Mafia.  Those are some cruel mo' fo's.

I can just imagine Izumi the Russian Mob Boss:

"Donna Izumi, I've come to pay my respects, capice?"    :D   Omerta!  Just kidding!    ;)

I simply admire any beautiful woman whether she is cis or trans. They deserve it whether it was born or aquired. I do not think I am even entitled to be jealous of them. Any woman, whether she is beautiful or ugly, is more feminine than me. It is a plain fact that I can not deny.

A stereotype here is that m2f transsexual person should be more beautiful and sexy than most GGs. But there are a lot of m2fs who just look ordinary.

At least, I think I am better than most women in having a body that has been shaped by steady exercise. Even most beautiful women envy it. This is my last resort.

Interestingly, when I was young, I thought beautiful womem are those who have a pretty face. As I am getting old, the most sexy women to my eyes are those who have a very slim waist. Even their faces are not so much pretty, women with thin waist attract me so strongly. Probably I am looking for women who resemble me, or I want to look like a woman who I may think is sexy.

Beauty is subjective, although the principles are there.  If two people look at the same woman one might think she looks beautiful, and the other not, its all how we as individuals have our own tastes.

@ superkitty036:

Hey, Kitty, I hear ya!  Because of your youth, I'm sure you look better than me, but I work out intensely too.  You will be pleased to know that you can keep blowin' their minds into a much older age than you are now.  Love it ... hee hee!    :D  Yes, this old gal gets the looks from both sexes these days, especially at the legs and the hips.  Yeah, it's tons of fun.   What's WAY fun is getting literally stared at (in a good way) by genetic girls half your age or less!  Wahoo!

Hey, you gotta take what you got and rock with it!  You are very pretty, and I'm sure you blow many minds when you are out and about.   Strut your stuff, girl!    ;)

Talking to a GG friend the other night, she was saying how jealous she was of my thin waist, and that she had a 20 inch waist when she was married. I replied 'but you have had two gorgeous children, something I can never have'. She replied, yes but I can still be jealous  ::) ::)

Same thing with the girls in my office, they notice things about me, make comments that i should wear more skirts and dresses because my legs and butt look really good to them, but then again i think they look better then me.  One said she was jealous at my thighs.  I personally am jealous of a lot more on her body though...

same here, but differently :) For some reason recently I started subconsciously noticing women who look somewhat like me. Don't know why it is, maybe I just want to see how do they fit in, how do they behave, dress, etc. Or I just want to know that there are indeed a few other tall and not-so-slim ones as myself :) It's important not to feel alone.

Me too.  I found myself studying women more once I started RLE.  I wanted to figure out why they looked good and how I could adapt that to my look.  I also have noticed how many women have the same general body configuration that I do.  (Who knew? :o)

I think it doesn't help to look at only the gorgeous women but to look at ones who look like you do, too. :)

Do you take them up on their comments Izumi, ever since I starting dating my Fiancé who is now my Husband, he was always telling me to wear more skirts, dresses and heels, I was more of a jeans girl, kept telling me my legs looked more elegant and my butt looked good in a tight skirt.
Now whenever we go out Im more of a dresses girl, heels can be not so comfy but very stylish, Iv grown to love heels, I surpose to confess Im a little vain, I do notice guys looking at my cleavage, legs and butt, just part of being a woman and being feminine.
My advice Izumi, go for it, your a beautiful woman, nothing to hide and everything to show that you are a pretty woman.

I was also more of a dresses girl. Since ive met Michael when we go out, he doesnt want me uncovered in any way, I wear jeans. Thats the way all our men are, here in Greece. The ironic part is at home he wants me in  tight shorts all the time. He has never said no to anything I asked of him, so I have to go with some of his requests. I truly feel we will be married within the next 2- 3 years.

Well with my line of work its hard to continuously dress in skirts and dresses, so i do when i know i wont be crawling around in the ceiling or doing work with large pieces of equipment needing to be moved.

Seems more MTFs these days are getting married, i am surprised, if someone said I would end up getting hitched i would laugh it off thinking what straight guy would want me for a wife being TS and all, but seems it happens more frequently then i previously thought.  Congratulations btw, i hope you two have a great life together, and yes boyfriends either want to show you off, or if they are insecure, they want you covered up so no one else gets you heh, but in the house its dress anyway you like, but better yet dress how they like, right?
