Izumi thank you for youre wishes. I hope its been going well for you and your boyfriend as well. Also yes, dress how they like, at least most of the time. When I first started to transition, I thought I would still be attracted to women. How wrong I was. But in the end it has worked out. Izumi, Im curious, if you had never met your current boyfriend, if you had the chance, would you get romantically involved with someone from your high school years ?  This question goes for everyone here as well. This has been weighing on my mind for a while, I want to hear what other people would do.

No i could not be romantically involved with them, it couldn't happen really.  Most of my friends were girls ^_^, but a few guys maybe 3, all of which probably could never lose the image of what i used to look like in their minds no matter how i look, so i see it as an impossibility.  Although, if I was born or met them as i am now yes, one in particular is a great guy that easily i could have fallen for.  Today hes a stand up guy, takes care of his family and his responsibilities, and has a pretty good sense of humor.  His wife is lucky to have him, last time i visited him i didnt get a chance to meet his family, but i cant wait to tell his wife about the trouble he got into as a teen. ^_^b.

Seems more MTFs these days are getting married, i am surprised, if someone said I would end up getting hitched i would laugh it off thinking what straight guy would want me for a wife being TS and all, but seems it happens more frequently then i previously thought.  Congratulations btw, i hope you two have a great life together, and yes boyfriends either want to show you off, or if they are insecure, they want you covered up so no one else gets you heh, but in the house its dress anyway you like, but better yet dress how they like, right?

Yes there are more MTFs getting married these days, maybe surprising maybe not, but its a good sign of the times. I would never have believed years ago Id now be married and married to a straight guy and being a housewife. Iv never been as happy and yes Mark wants to show me off lol, thats men for you. As I become a full time housewife I probably will dress to please Him more as he'll be paying lol its all about pleasing each other, its hard work being a housewife cooking and cleaning etc. but its hard work on my Man keeping a woman's needs lol He knows how to treat a woman. I was the very same, before my transition I could never see myself with a man, but that all changed as I went thru transition, as I became more feminine I became more attracted to men, when my transition was complete, I was completely attracted to men as a straight woman in a sense. I just wanted a guy to take care of me, except me as a woman, just be my dream guy, well Iv finally met Him, his name is Mark, he is now my husband, just hope I can be now a good Wife.
There was a guy years ago, just a mate, I wonder how Id feel about him now as Im now a woman, I haven't seen him since I transition, would I be attracted to him in that way, don't think he would, its not many guys who except a girl's trans history, hard to know till your in that situation.

This thread is really interesting and informative.  Any of you seen some of the transsexual women's stories listed on Lynn Conway's website and on Karen Serenity's website?  There are several transgals listed on each of those sites who fully transitioned, found a genetic guy, hooked up and are very happy today.  It DOES happen, and apparently, it happens much more often than I ever thought possible. 

I admit that I've always been kind of in the dark about things like this.  I have noticed that there seem to be guys who are very attracted to transwomen who are preop ... but then lose interest in them when they become postop.  This is what I've observed.  I could be wrong.  Anyway, thanks for this great thread.  Very interesting reading.

I believe that there are indeed a lot of guys who are attracted to MTF preop, but we are only a fantasy.....The men who are attracted to MTF's preop usually want to be on the receiving end of intercourse, which I personally could and would NEVER do. So hhmmm life is a trip
