Faylvr

Hi, I'm new to this board (obviously) and am looking for somewhere I can talk about my relationship with my beloved woman :).

I'm a 50 year old female in a relationship of 3 years with a 40 year old TG woman. I love her dearly and we have the happiest, most stable relationship I have ever experienced in my life. She's been post op for about 8 years and full time for 3 years before that, but as many in her situation she's always felt 'not quite in the right body' and had gender issues growing up, complicated by a strict Christian upbringing.

We have 3 sons between us aged 17,18 and 19 who have accepted our relationship with equanimity (although it took a while) and we are all very close.

Life is not totally without ups and downs and although we are a lot happier than many couples in this situation, there are complications af various kinds. We are lucky in that we belong to a supportive, inclusive Christian fellowship, have family that accept us and she has a job she loves where she is free to be herself. I am disabled, however, which can cause the odd problem (to say the least) and two of our boys are autistic, which can be difficult.

Oh dear - I hope you don't mind me waffling like this - once again, it's nice to 'meet' you and I look forward to getting to know some of you.

Welcome Faylvr, I am new here as well. You will like it here!!! There are so many nice people here. I am sure you will, as I do, enjoy meeting them all.

I too had a strict Christian upbringing. About the same age as you  and married 28 years, three children. You will find that there are quite a few with a similar background here.

Big Smile and a hug, Erocse
