transman blocked from homecoming kingship

A transman was entered as a write-in candidate for homecoming king, and the school stopped counting the ballots.

I find this both appalling and interesting: one, that the school administration does not accept their TG student as male, two, that the student body apparently not only accepts him, they like him enough to place a goodly number of votes for him as homecoming king-indeed, enough votes that the school admins refused to continue counting ballots; which rather implies he was getting a lot of votes, doesn't it?

Not that those bigots will admit it, of course...

The up-and-coming generation is a lot more openminded, isn't it?

I had to stop reading the comments because I was going to reply to the bigot and say what I was thinking but I would get a lawsuit. I hate not being able to enjoy high school like any other guy because I have a vagina. I can't join the Football team, if I play Basketball it will be for a girls team, the same with Track and Lacross. I can't join the wrestling team. I can't flirt with the hot girls without getting yelled at or insulted. I just want to be a normal boy.
