Anything you know would be useful. ;o;
Really personal question, kinda nervous about asking!  :D

But I was researching and it contantly meantionsabout prosthetic testicals in FtM surgical procedures.
Which instantly gives the the impression of it being plasticly, like an arm.
Unfortunately I have searched the net and not found any more detail so I have come to you guys instead.
I really dislike the idea of something plastic between my legs and I am worried that as soon as I would get undressed it would instantly make me look fake.
Its a small thing but it has seriously had me worrying.
So in the most casual way possibley, how authentic are they? As far as you know.

All help is greatly appreciated. :)

To get a natural looking sack you usually have to go through a couple sets of prosthetic testicles. The first set I believe usually doesn't feel right, I've heard that they can feel extremely hard compared to a cisguy's stuff. But they have to stretch out the skin and make room for larger implants which will create the proper size, shape and texture.

Now this is just what I've observed from different people's experiences and stuff. I haven't actually had these procedures or been up close and personal with someone who has, so my info may be incorrect.

Testicular implants are silicone testicles (kinda look like chicken eggs! LOL) that are implanted in the outer labia. The labia is closed together (after vagina is removed) to create a scrotum.  So no, you don't have plastic hanging between  your legs.  You have what looks like a scrotum.

At 3 months post op my scrotum doesn't hang as it should for a guy my age, but I've heard that things drop after awhile.  Here's hoping.

I can't remember where I read this, but that someone who got scrotal implants was required to stretch out the labia majora beforehand so that the area that would become the scrotum was more pliable. I'm willing to bet that after some time the skin will stretch out more, but it will probably never look like a bio-male scrotum. It generally seems to look very drawn up like your genitals were constantly cold.

I'm answering even though your subject line clearly disqualifies me.

I thought silicone testicles were pulled off the market a few years ago due to concerns about side effects and safety?
