Does anyone know how popular he is and if it's difficult to get a surgery date with him? Basically, is the waiting list (if there is one) relatively long? Because I don't have all the docs required by him yet, but if he tends to be busy I might want to get them asap :o.

Dr Garramone is one of the most popular surgeons right now. I didnt have any problem getting into him though. I scheduled my surgery about 2 months in advance and I was able to pick my date with no problem.  You will have to have a conultation with him and you can do that on the phone, he will ask questions and things like that.  Then when you schedule your surgery date you have to pay $500 that day. The rest of the money is due 2 weeks before surgery. You will need blood work done and a letter from you therapist. as long as he has those 2 things the day before your pre-op visit then you're good. hope that helped man

yeah i just went to him for a consult and he said that as long as you avoid the "busy months"(March, December, and summer months) there really shouldn't be a problem booking a month or 2 on advance.

I'd love to but I'm not at all prepared. No letter, no funds, no means of getting down there :o there's a lot to sort out so if I do try for this coming summer, it'd probably be relatively short notice. I'll see how it goes though, thanks for the info guys :).
