No-one there to hold your hand

Often times I feel alone, isolated and afraid and no-one cares... there is no-one to give me any comfort

But then there is KYLYKaHIT (High as a Kite) Shannon, Cindy James, Chloe (Fairygirl), Janet Lynn, Jen, LordKat, Rejennyrated and the list goes on and on... There are so many... Too many to fit on one page

No, these people and many others are not able to physically be with me... But they have held my hand, given me hugs and snuggles, kisses and support

I just wanted to say thank you  :icon_chick:

Hi Virginia,
And my other friends on the list.
I so wish we could be in physical contact. Have the coffee, have the cry.
It must be even so more difficult when you are in a town, city, whatever, that has little or no TG friendly places. I'm blessed that I can go out and meet people. Gain confidence and move on.
Virginia as you know I feel for you.

Sweet dreams baby Sis.

Have a great birthday as well
Hugs

It's a real shame I'm not richer - or I would willingly pay for us all to take a group holiday on some paradise isle.

It's funny, I've only realised, since coming here, how in many ways my life has been easier than some in relation to the whole gender thing (which strangely I didn't really understand before).

Yet I still have days when I get down and discouraged about other things. True these days my issues are not gender, but my struggle to transition from a technical person into an author has so many similarities that you wouldn't believe how much encouragement I have got from the friendships that I have built on here with people like you, and indeed all of those you mention.

Today is one of the down days, when the prospect of ever getting published, or seeing one of my screenplays accepted, seems so far away that I feel as if I will never get there, but I know I must not give up.

So yeah - it's good to be connected and I too wish we could have more than a virtual hug  :icon_hug:

Yep.... I would add too....

That there are many people posting here guys/gals and inbetweenies..... whom all paly there part in helping many of us stay on the straight and narrow when it comes to thangs compos mentis....

So I will add my thanks too....

There are probably very few places online with such a wide range of info/views facts and fictions.....  :P

And if I were a newbie to all this as I was back in the 1980's.... and I'd had this resource available back then..... what a great help it would have been....

@ Virginia Marie:

Virginia, you've got lots of friends here who really care about you.  Just look at the expressions of affection on this thread.  You're greatly cared about.    :)

Virginia,

Please know that you are a very special lady and I would gladly hold you for a while if I were close enough and it were any comfort to you. Do not ever hesitate to ask for a hug or favor as I will be a friend for as long as you allow me to be. I can assure you that you have often been there for me when I needed your words and giant orange hugs. I thank you for that and appreciate your thanks.

Take care and know you are beautiful in all ways.

Virginia,

I'm kinda new here. Anyway a couple weeks ago I went to an LGBT fair. There was a lady there greeting everybody with a hug. She came up to me ( a complete stranger)and gave me a big hug. It felt so good it brought a tear to my eye.

So here I am a complete stranger giving you a big hug. :)

It's only been a short while and I already feel the same as you, about the wonderful people here.

    Big hugs !! Erocse
