How About Just Re-Naming It 'DC Second Transphobia Cathedral'?

Nothing, of course, can ever displace the obscenity of the Rhode Island Avenue Cesspool's HQ at the top of the heap, but if there is a No. 2 slot, its looking as though the Marriott Wardman Park is aiming for it.

Last year, the AALS Faculty Recruitment Conference (the meat market for aspiring law professors) was held there and, during the single interview I was able to secure, one of the interviewers sent a clear signal to me that I'd wasted all of the money  – money I didn't have but spent anyway – I'd spent on my plane ticket and lodging in order to go to the interview.

How?

She referred to me with male pronouns during the interview.
