I know that when you are on T, your voice obviously gets deeper. However I'm curious: does that mean if you eventually stop taking T then your voice will become girly again? Also, I have a small case of clefted palate. You can notice it a little bit now. If I take T and that deepens my voice will it also make it sound more clearer too? Or probably not?

What I have been told ... since T is the dominant hormone ... most of the changes are permant .... you voice will stay low, you will still have hair on your face, your dick will remain ...the only changes back are the fat distrubution back into a female shape.  It's for that reason that most states are moving to ftm's only having to be taking T to get all their documents changed

As Rob said, your voice will remain low if you stop T.

One thing that MAY happen in addition to his list, is that the stock female reproductive organs may start... err... "functioning" again. Of course, that's a big maybe - depends purely on the person and their individual hormone system.

If you're making a decision whether to start T or not, just treat all changes as permanent. Don't count on stopping at having some of them revert.

No voice changes are irriversible it's why we women need to extensively retrain our voices and while I deny it in public and haven't used it in months, I am still physically able to speak like a male and I feel it all the time supressed underneath my female voice

It's sad :(
