i lost my brother (Please read 1st post Red text)

im not sure if this is in the right place or not my name is claudette i am jesse's sister. i have been left to take care of his final affairs i know this support group was a big part of his life so its only right that we inform you of his death. on sept 29 jesse commited suicide by alchol and prescription pain killers. i have watched him suffer with this his entire life i just wanted to let you know that all of you are my heros please remember that suicide isnt the answer please prey for him if its your thing i lost my angel the night the hospital called please think about the family you leave behind.

It would appear that Jesse is fine.  Cindy James received a call from her and she is indeed alive and well.  Evidently this was written by her ex wife, who somehow got into her account.  But the message itself reminds all of us to seek help when we feel suicidal.  Call someone, anyone.

I'm so sorry to hear this Claudette. There is so much suicide in this community, I'm speechless, I really liked Jesse and had some great conversations with her. She was beautiful.

I'm so sorry Claudette Jesse was a nice woman, although I didn't talk talk to her much she gave great advice, and truly seemed like a great person. I'm so sorry for your loss

I am so sorry to hear this Claudette. My condolences to you and your family. I remember Jesse posting here around the time I joined and hadn't seen her posts in awhile and wondered where she had gone.

Oh no. That is terrible news. My condolences to you and your family. It is a sad loss.

We had corresponded, and I think spoken once as we had both shared the experience of being sexually assaulted when younger. I tried to help Jesse see that it is possible to rise above such trauma even when it happens so young and I hoped that for a time we were making progress.

I must admit I had noticed that Jesse had not posted here for some while and I was afraid that one day I might log on to find news like this.

Very sad. RIP Jesse. I hope that where ever you are now you are at least at peace.

My Dear Claudette

God this is horrible. I talked Jesse down a few times when she was drunk, she had my phone number and knew I was available for her 24/7. We had a similar history. She pulled out of contact a while ago saying she was coping etc.
I am so sorry.
Please accept my condolences.

I haven't just lost a member of this community, I have lost a personal friend. I realise your loss is greater.

I can only say I'm stunned and shocked... and I am so sorry for your (our) loss. 

I corrsponded with Jessica many times in private over the last year, and I really thought after the difficult times last Christmas, that she was finally coping ..

We all go through times when we don't come here as regularly as we used to, and I havn't been around so much myself lately, but I was beginning to wonder if she was OK..

..I'm sorry ...I think this will take a while to sink in...

Oh no! This is sad news. I have two friends who attempted suicide but luckily they didn't succeed. They ended up coming out of their depression and are enjoying life again. Everyone please remember that depression can pass.

Thank you for telling us. I was wondering where Jesse was.

I first bumped into Jesse on another forum, similar to this one. We had a discussion about guns. I don't like them so you can guess how that went.

Anyway, partly from her suggestion I came here.

Though I only communicated with her, here, a few times, She was kinda an anchor. I know her life was very difficult. Her job disappeared and she had problems with her own family.

I am so desperately sad to hear she has died. I will miss her and never forget her.

I am at a loss for words to describe my feelings right now.  I followed Jesse's posts was touched by many of them.  One more light in our lives is extinguished and we are all the poorer for it.

Claudette,  I really am sorry for your loss of your sister.  I replied to Jesse's posts on a number of occassions and found her to be a wonderful person with a lot of helpful insights.

She'd had such a hard life and I thought things might be getting better for her and I respected her for how she had coped. I'd replied to her a few times.

It's just not fair her story had to be so sad then had to end that way. I hope she finds peace wherever she is.

I did not know your sister beyond a few posts on Susans's, but I am still in tears. I am so sorry that she couldn't find her way through her troubles. I think many of us here have faced similar demons. The family you leave behind has to bear the pain and I am truly sorry you all have to face this. I hope she has found peace.

This is such terrible news. Although I did not know her well, she was one of the people who welcomed me here on the forum, and to know she is gone now, makes my heart very sad
