He may be good but try getting him to respond back to you with a direct answer to a question. I say go elsewhere.

It's just been over three weeks and I am home now from Bangkok.  I've had the surgery with Dr. Kamol.

I was already out shopping by second week and with caution (I'm very careful), the surgery site looks phenomenal already.  My basis would be different websites and (TG Roadmap, Lynn Conway, etc) and it seems that Dr. Kamol is one of the most underrated surgeons there is out there.  He is one of the considered best in Thailand.  And I feel that's saying a lot given that they are pretty good surgeons.

So I would definitely recommend Dr. Kamol.

Well............I'm having surgery with Dr. Kamol on the 22nd of January. It's been a gut-wrenching decision (I'm certain it is for everyone) deciding who to choose for srs, however, I believe Dr. Kamol is one of the better surgeons around. I've been trying to find every bit of information I can about him and the majority is very favorable. No one is perfect.......but we all like to hedge our bets :-) I'll post my experience on here as soon as physically able!! Please keep me in your prayers!

You are in my prayers, Aviya!  The nurses are sweet, just be patient if they don't speak perfect English.  :)

That would be awesome if you would share your impressions from your experience.  I haven't heard a great deal about him, so I'm curious, too.  I can't decide on who I want to do my surgery...just a few that I've eliminated in my mind.

I hope everything goes well for you, Aviya, and that you have a speedy recovery.

Gats2000, please read my recent post under Post-Op life.

I think Dr. Kamol did a decent job on me.  You can read more about it (and ask questions) if you'd like!
