Like the title asks..
Who, if anyone, do you model yourself after? What's the reasoning?
It could be a real person, relative, movie character, video game character, cartoon character(?), anyone =]

Lately I've gotten into the Resident Evil game series and... as weird as it sounds, I kind of model myself after Leon Kennedy. Our personalities are already quite a bit alike, so I try to go for the same body language and such as well.. XP

My reasoning: He's driven, strong-willed, goal oriented and pretty much a bad a**. Good at what he does and has the ability to look good doing it. He works in the higher levels of law enforcement, and that's something I plan to get into.

Oh, and my dad.. sometimes. Lol.

I can't think of who I might model myself after in other ways, but I know that I definitely get my stance from Dragon Ball Z character Goku!  ;D That was really forced into being. I thought it was so cool.

That's about it for now. If I have some sudden realization, I'll post again.
I'll be there someday, I can go the distance

Push it baby, push it baby, out of control, I got my gun cocked tight and I'm ready to blow. ;)

@Wolf Man: I've got to agree that Goku is pretty much awesome all around. =D

@Kentrie: Draco, huh? Nice!

Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds and Luke Skywalker.  Reid because he's the ultimate awkward nerd and he's got a prestigious job with the FBI.  He shows you that you don't have to be all 'RAWR - Smash - Ultra macho' to get the bad guys in the end.  Being an introverted nerd myself, he gives me hope for my future.  I also may or may not be in love with him. :D

Luke Skywalker is my hero because he started as a simple farm boy and went on to become a Jedi Knight.  And man, he's Luke Skywalker!  Who doesn't want to be like him?  lol

There's been a lot of people I've admired over time that I've probably pulled certain things from. I can't think of one specific person though.

I can't think of a role model. I guess I never looked up to anyone.
I don't know if this counts, but sometimes if I see one of my favorite celebrities wearing something, I may get that item as a collectable. I might wear it. It depends. As an example, I'm a Queen fan and I saw shoes like Freddie used to wear on eBay so I got them. I don't wear them since they are 3 sizes too big. I heard T can make you feet grow though, so maybe in the future I will wear them. I would only ware them lightly and rarely so they stay in good condition.

Ah, there's a collection I think have/had some good qualities.

My father - resilient and fair.
My mother - brave, kind, had her own style.

The historian Michael Wood - interested in ordinary people, infectious enthusiasm for life, never patronising and young but appropriate dress sense.

More recently Stephen Fry and the 9th Doctor playful but grown up, and, like Allesandro, some elements of the 10th Doctor.

Yes!! I love Spencer Reid.  I don't know if I would say that I model myself after him, but I can relate to him quite a bit  :)

Haha Goku, that's awesome man  :)

Me personally, I'd say a bunch of different guys, but mostly just guys from my favorite bands. I try to apply qualities of them that I find good to myself, or even just things appearance wise.

Cool perspective, Tad. =D
I haven't come across anyone who has described it like this.

Cowboys. Their cool laid back spirit, they're men of action and not words, their whole lifestyle ... I would love to be one.

Captain Mal Reynolds from the TV show, Firefly.

I guess him and a mixture of my dad, but I don't think I really model myself off of any characters or anyone really. I have just always been the way I am.

This is going to sound bizarre and maybe creepy, but I sortof model my body language and how I walk after one of my ex-boyfriends. I noticed that I look a little like him when I'm close to a pass, so I figured his body language would look natural on someone who kindof resembles him. As far as attitude and manner of speaking though, I'm all me 8)

Since I was little I always thought my older brother was the coolest person in the world. I always wanted to be like him and would copy off of everything he did growing up, I'm sure he thought it was annoying! haha but it was all because I admired and respected him. I would still say that I'm a lot like him. I don't really think that I actually model myself off of anyone. I act how i feel a respectable man should act. I treat women how i would want someone to treat my mom, with love & tons of respect. I respect my elders, I try to be as polite as i can, I love to make people laugh, I work hard for what I want, I try to be the best daddy in the world ( i want my daughter to have everything she needs). I'm far from a perfect person, but I do my best to the the best man i can be. I don't really think that I get that from modeling anyone, but  from understanding what is right and wrong, treating others how i would want them to treat me and my family, and never settling for less than I'm capable of.

I attempt to be as gnomely as possible, but honestly I don't really have to try much.   8)

Seriously though no one I can think of specifically.  As a small child it was probably somewhere along the lines of the ninja turtles.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
