You do know that you can set it so that they don't show.  I got that way myself.  I turned them off and I never looked in those sections.

The insomnia monster often likes to harass me because I feel so hapless and hopeless to ever afford my day and I get so envious of all those who are having their's

But I'm not giving up and will always wish everyone all the best on their day... I'm not going to run and hide from my dear friends and family here just because I'm a bit jealous of some of them

I think that those are in the minority. As other people say, if you want to stay, just turn off the sigs and continue as normal.

What are these tickers of which you speak? Oh, right, in people's signatures. I turned them off because they are too flashy. And I guess I'd have to admit that being reminded of where I'm not bothers me too.

(No offense to those of you with tickers or flashy signatures -- I still see them when I look at your profile; I'd just rather not see them on every thread I browse.)

Go to your profile
Click on "Look and Layout"
Click on "Don't show users' signatures."
Ans then "Change Profile"

Then go check a thread and they will not appear

You go to your profile and choose "modify profile". In the drop down list you click "Look and Layout".
Here you find the option to hide signatures.
