I hate these things. I have them all over my thighs, hips and butt, and It's no even because I gained heaps of weight >:[

Does anyone know a good way to make them go away or at least make them less visible?

The told my ex to rub cocoa butter on them while she was pregnant to fade them and they also suggested Mederma which apparently works better but is more expensive. I doubt yours are as bad as hers were when she was pregnant so I'd imagine that should work for you.

I have them on my thighs.  Have had them for about 10 years. Got a feeling they're there for life now  :(

Stretch marks are scars. They do fade over time but will always be there. Cocoa butter can help but that's usually if you're in the process of getting stretch marks (like pregnancy). I have them on my thighs, bum, back, stomach, chest, and arms...and I'm not that chubby! D:

I feel you.  I have stretchmarks on my inner thighs, on my outer thighs near my hips, on my hips, on the lower part of my side, and on my boobs (not wearing a bra partially caused those XD).

Going outside, exercising, or getting darker can sometimes help fade the stretch marks.  Mederma is supposed to work, and I plan on trying at some point in time--at least for the hip/side ones.

I got my first ones in my calves at 10, I was in no way fat, but since my skin is extremely prone to cuts, bruises, stretching, anything, I got them. They were flaming red and yes Nygeel is right, they are scars (so I thought they were cool...).

I have them on my calves and thighs, but they have faded to pearly white and since my skin is very light, they aren't very noticeable. My sister has less of them, but since she's swarthy, they're a lot more noticeable.

My ex had stretch marks, she bought this specific mederma stretch mark cream, I read the box and it said that it gets rid of new stretch marks (that are still pinkish?) and not older ones that are already like white.
Call me a cheat but I make my own fate.

I got them everywhere just for hitting puberty; ugh. My chest, hips, thighs, bum, everywhere but my stomach. D:

Can they be removed somehow?

I managed to get stretch marks on my knee caps. You can barley see them, you would have to be looking for them. I also got them on my sides, thighs, back, upper arms, boobs. The ones on my boobs you can only see when theres nothing supporting them. But jut hanging they become groves. I think pretty much everyone has them somewhere. I know a cis guy who had them just as bad, or worse than me. Just minus the boob ones.

It's really common to get stretch marks during puberty, and it doesn't mean you're fat.

I got mine because my muscles grew really fast.  Maybe if you work out more, it'll look like the stretch marks are from muscle growth, as opposed to F body fat distribution.

Just so you know, cis-guys get them, too.  My partner's a cis-man and he's got a way worse case of stretch marks on the hips/butt/thighs than I do (but I've got him beat when it comes to the chest, trivially).  For adults of any sex, stretch marks are common battle scars of puberty, so I wouldn't worry too much about hiding them; they'll fade over time.

Aegir, I know how you feel.  I did almost all of my growing in 7th grade and have been one giant stretch mark ever since.

Yeah lol it's like our chests and hips just exploded one morning, huh?

Thanks for the reassurance Ilan! That makes me feel better that bio-guys get them too. I always feel so self-conscious when I'm intimate with someone because my thighs/hips/love handles are all stretch-marky. Ugh.

Honestly, as far as physical flaws go, stretch marks are so far down the list of importance that I don't think I'll ever mark enough stuff off to start caring about them.

Yes i feel you on that one!

I have them on my sides.. looks like a velociraptor attacked me. People who have asked about them always assume that it was some sort of terrible accident or something.. They are pearly white, jagged, ropy and long. Looks like a bear mauled me.. ah well. Kinda cool. They don't bother me.

I wonder how much that would cost for those of us with them all over.  I'm betting it's really expensive.
