Thoughts on injections. . .

I'm starting injectables next week, I hear allot that Injections work faster and give maximum feminization results but you will also experience moodswings..lol so whats your thoughts on injections?

I swapped from oral's to injectable estrogen after 2 months of orals as I hated taking multiple pills every day & am a smoker so the reduced risk profile relating to clots is another great benefit.

Been on injectables for a month & think I've had my biggest changes yet, especially in terms of breast development & muscle loss.

I think there is enough anecdotal evidence with regimens/photos on the net that show injectables do produce effects quicker although my Endo disagrees....then again, I doubt he spends hours on the internet in private groups & relies primarily on text books.

IM injected estrogen is generally safer and more direct; the liver doesn't get a (first) pass at it nor the stomach destroy the medication.

that said, weighing the benefits to risks (improper injection, cost of the medication and supplies, need to dispose of the sharps eventually) is a personal thing as everyone's needs are different.
