laser beard removal while still presenting as male

How much attention does it draw if you have your beard removed while still presenting as male? I can afford it just dont want to look TOO obvious. I have always had some rather feminine features like pretty eyes, long eye lashes, narrow chin and nose, no visible adams apple and a voice that is kinda high for average males. 
The desire to be who I really am inside gets stronger every day and I feel more like I am crossdressing when I get ready in the morning to go to work.  Luckily, I live alone during the week so I can be myself during the week after work but weekends, it's back to playing an unhappy role as man and husband. I'll just have to play the game as long as I can for now...

Do you usually get clean shaves, without a lot of shadow? I don't think it would be too strange. Beard Removal while on HRT though might be a lot of changes happening rapidly, so that might draw attention.

If you aren't on HRT though, I'm pretty certain you'll be alright.

I agree with Samantha, if you're on HRT, it might be a lot, but if you're not, it probably won't cause much attention.

The shadow isn't that noticable when I'm clean shaven and I shave with a razor every morning. My wife detests facial hair and also hates that "scruffy" feel if I don't shave every day. I never really had a heavy enough beard to grow a mustache or goatee so I wouldn't be missing anything.  I just want smoothe pretty skin!

May I suggest you invest in an electric rasor?

Wet shaving will do terrible things to your skin. Older men have nice faces, usually because they've spent their lives drying out the skin.

When I put my transision on hold, I stopped shaving clean. Eventually I bought a beart trimmer with attachments. It cuts really short. But my skin, under all that, will remain smooth, rather like a nice dress, stored in a wardrobe.

But the foil shave attachment can really cut very smooth.

If you are on HRT, this will be an even bigger problem as the feminine skin is more oil based.

As others have suggested, I doubt anyone is going to notice your laser removal. And who cares really?

It's true, nobody notices.  I was a little surprised as I spent many weeks in remote field camps and every male in the place had beards and I never even had a shadow.  I did get one comment early on in the process from a friend but he was just surprised he never noticed how crappy my beard was.  I told I gave up trying to grow one    Start now, you'll be a lot happier, I know I was/am.

I think I am going to start pricing laser in Dallas. My biggest fear is that something go wrong and my face looks like I had "laser hair removal" when I go back to work on monday. I figure I'd get it done on a friday afternoon and be back to normal but I have seen a couple of horror stories...

Surprisingly alot of genetic males are opting to have there beards lasered off as well as other areas   be it metro sexual or just don't want to have to shave again. So just do it...

For me, it wasn't much. I had a lot of bad ugly acne for a bit, the first few times. And there was some red soreness but it wasnt too noticable. Nobody said anything or even suspected

You may get some swelling...mine can be pretty bad, but I've noticed it hurts more since I started HRT (as well as being more effective)

Ugh aint it truth...hurts way more now. skin is softer and more sensitive

No problem getting hair removal while still presenting as male, nobody will notice.

Electric razors are not a good idea either, as they can twist the follicles and cause ingrowing hairs, I know this from experience.

Start laser/electrolysis as soon as possible and use a good wet shave razor. For electrolysis a day or two growth is recommended depending on the growth rate of your beard.
