Tonya and I went out on Saturday to a larp (live-action RPG) where I am playing a female character. Well, she helped me get fixed up before we left the house, dropped off the roomie at a friend's so he could play wii and starcraft for the afternoon.
Then, lunch time - we found a nice little italian/greek/mediterranean place in Lincolnton we've both been wanting to try and it was good food

I was kinda nervous about getting clocked, but I don't think it happened - according to Tonya, the waitress kept doing she, her, and maam most of the time and figured we were lesbians from our familiarity

So, good time there and then we drove to Charlotte for the game.
Had fun there, I talked to the guy who does all of their 'prep' stuff (setting up the site, refreshments, etc.) and he said I had come up in a conversation the week before. It was about people who play cross-gendered characters and apparently I came up as an example of someone who really tries to do it right and goes through the effort. Also, there were a few players who I had talked to online, but never met in person. 'You make a cute girl' was the nicest compliment I got from someone who drove in from Raleigh. Yay

For dinner afterwords, we swung near Gastonia and hit the IHOP - I was a little nervous there, but realized there was nothing to worry about, especially later on at night. I waited for a gas station for the bathroom, but then realized that I probably didn't need to worry - and if it had been a gotta go situation, Tonya would have gone in with me to cover on it.
Well, time for me to get some snoozing for work tomorrow - oh, and the face I used was the same one in the gallery with the short black hair, although I changed over to a more frilly shirt and knee-length skirt, same boots though

All in all, it felt like a date night with a game in between.
