Puberty with an extra dose of awkward

Oh, puberty.  Most of us can easily look back and laugh at its awkwardness.  We were delighted to be old enough to do things like shave our legs or faces before it became a rather tedious (and for some, optional) chore.  Some can also laugh - or maybe just shiver - at the angst that perhaps motivated us to listen to Simple Plan. For transgender individuals who didn't identify as their biological sex, however, puberty might be less adorably awkward than others might remember.

This is just one trial that Rebecca Kling recalls while starring in the play Trans Form, which uses overhead projections, acting, music and dancing to discuss issues and experiences involved with being a transwoman.
