OK... When your really stuck (like I am at the moment) then you may start doing those little transition related things, that help you pass, and make you feel a little better while you sort out your issues...

...so amongst other things I practice my vocal training while driving my car on my own...well it seems like a good place to do it, and I put my bluetooth mic on, so nobody thinks I'm totally crazy if they see me..
..Anyway... the reason for this post is that last Friday night I was in a local bar with my boss when my female voice escaped in mid-sentence... It was weird, I was trying to raise my voice and it just jumped and octave and I got half a dozen words out before I realised what had happened...I got strange looks from the people around us, and I had to explain that I had a sore throat (which I didn't).
...I suppose it can happen, but this is actually the 3rd time in the last month, so its beginning to worry me a little.

Has anyone else suffered from this problem ? ...am I overdoing the practice and damaging my vocal chords?
...I'm running out of plausible excuses
