HOUSTON - A Houston transgendered woman was arrested on Nov. 17 for using a woman's restroom at the public library in downtown Houston.

The transgender we're calling "Michelle", was taken into custody by a Houston Police officer. That officer was told a man dressed as a woman was in the ladies' restroom.

We had a chance to speak with one of "Michelle's" close and longtime friends. She says "Michelle" was only being who she is.
