If you ask my neighbor she would say "Hell Yes".  I cycle my HRT so yeah I guess I can.

Sure, why not.  As Ice-T said: So ladies, We ain't just talkin' bout you / Cause a lot of these pigs / Is bitches too.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

Sometimes I feel a bit like I do, but it could just be that I'm emotionally unstable, I'm leaning more towards the latter explanation. ;)

Yes with a capital B***h.  Feeling OK today but the last 4 days I have been SO bitchy it frightened me.  30 days since the last time I decided that I really needed to skin someone alive. Culminated last night with  giant cry session. Without doing the experiment of coming off HRT, I cannot begin to prove that I am hormonally driven. But so what.  Life is what we live.

Yes well kinda PMS is two things
1: Low Estrogen Levels
2: Uterine contractions

Obvs I can't have uterine contractions however as I take Injectibles I do get one or two days of low E prior to my shot. Thus some of the mental effects are emulated likewise I get pregnancy symptoms shortly after my shot.

I don't get bitchy never I'm not so public with emotional problems, However in private I do cry alot and have bad self-esteem during those two days.

Pregnancy symptoms are happy contented feelings, nausea, headaches, and sneezing fits.

Yes indeed. I know when it happens, and I do my best not to act like a total b*tch. I cycle progesterone. I remember when I first started getting the emotional symptoms of PMS, and I was still presenting as male. Oh, fun times. After that, I became much more in control of my outward displays of emotion during my PMS days.

Debra

yep! Esp if you use (or cycle) progesterone =) I take P everyday (no cycling yet) but I definitely feel irritable once in a great while and it wont be for any good reason.

So you take Progesterone, spiro and e?
  •

Janet_Girl

I do yes.  Progesterone, cycling.  10 days a month.

Everybody experiences PMS, including pre HRT trans females and even cis males. Male-bodied people have monthly fluctuations in estrogen just like female-bodied people.

short answer is yes

I was sure it was all in my head but then I noticed I also retain water and bloat on top of the emotional bagage.

Pretty much everything except for blood.

I am not so sure it has to do with cycleing P as I do not do that anymore but I still go through PMS.

COnsider: the ouside is not the only part that feminizes. Our entire body reacts, including our endocrine system. Chances are our endocrine systems are feminized somewhat and as a result the system starts to act as such.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Ah, so that's why I've been sneezing so much the past couple of days.

I would not say everybody.

My mood swings are annual.

Do I have fluctuations in hormones, sure, but that doesn't have to translate my Dr. Jekyll into a Mr./Ms. Hyde situation every month. Hell, I don't even get headaches, cramps, or bloating, or even just irritable very often.

In any case I would not extrapolate PMS symptoms to mean I was any more or less of a woman.

i'm taking estrogen twice each day, so i don't know about that, but it seems to happen to genetic females because their hormone levels change throughout the month.

Oh yes! I also get the cramps as well, they royally suck! I'm generally a B*TCH anyway that isn't afraid to speak her mind, but some days its WAY worse.
  •

YellowDaisy

i'm not even on progesterone. what is that for anyway?
